MTTC Iphitos held its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. At the beginning of the meeting, the members present toasted the new club year together before receiving the annual report for the 2024/2025 financial year. The board members looked back on the sporting, organizational and structural developments and gave a comprehensive overview of the club’s activities. Another important point was the introduction of a competence team for the youth department, with the aim of broadening youth work in the future, clearly distributing responsibilities and further strengthening the long-term development of the youth sector.
Several elections were held in the further course of the meeting. The Honorary Board (Dr. Nikolaus Frühwein, Birgit Kauderer and Paul Schiffer) was re-elected and a new Financial Advisory Board (Jan Kupfer, Dr. Steffi Guth and Uli Kiendl) was elected. We would like to thank the previous Financial Advisory Board (Dr. Joachim Giehl, Jörg Utecht and Dr. Peter Schiefer) for their many years of dedicated work and outstanding support for the association. The General Meeting also re-elected the auditors (Dr. Bernd Rabald and Ralf Dölle).
In addition, the members discussed the setting of contributions, admission fees and levies as well as the budget for the 2025/2026 financial year. Following a presentation and explanation by the members of the Executive Board, the budget was unanimously approved. The Board of Directors’ motion to implement the planned measures to upgrade the facilities was also unanimously approved. The general meeting ended with a constructive exchange and a positive outlook for the coming year.
