Four days of fighting, sweating and cheering at our facility - the Iphitos Youth Cup 2023 has come to an end. With several successes for our Iphi Juniors! Lizzy Yelmanova, Jule Jansen, Hanna Sandtler, Fabia Ackermann, Sophia Nase, Sophia Deißenböck, Livia Ackermann, Anjali Vasanthan and Katja Pavliuk from the Iphi Juniors represented the girls in the main rounds. The sisters Livia Ackermann (U16) and Fabia Ackermann (U12), as well as Sophia Nase (U14) were able to secure second place in their respective competitions. Two Iphi Juniors were also successful in the competition (U10). While Lizzy Yelmanova achieved a great third place, her club colleague Jule Jansen won the group without losing a match. A great performance! Anjali Vasanthan also made it to the semi-finals, but was beaten by Livia Ackermann in an internal club duel. Florian Reich, Julius Maximilian Wauschkuhn, Emir Gök, Mats Sandtler, Franz-Aloys Schulz-Moll, Michael Oettinger, Matti Götting, Oskar Meyer Brandis, Alexander Bodczek, Clemens Feldengut, Luca Gildein, Leopold Chan and Alessandro Azzaroni were represented in the main round of the boys' competition. Unfortunately, none of the Iphi Juniors made it to the semi-finals or further this time. But things will certainly look very different at the next tournament! We are very proud of all the Iphi Juniors who gave their best at the Iphitos Youth Cup 2023 and are already looking forward to next year!
