On Saturday, June 14, the MTTC Iphitos in Munich hosted the “Film Tennis Cup” for the second time, a charity event initiated by film producer Martin Krug. The tournament took place in ideal weather conditions on the club’s tennis courts and attracted numerous prominent players and supporters.
The participants competed against each other in exciting doubles matches and demonstrated their skills at a high level. In addition to the tennis tournament, guests were able to compete in the “BlitzBee Charity Challenge” in the disciplines of basketball, darts and golf. The challenge was supported by Thomas Hansla, owner of BlitzBee, and provided additional variety off the court.
Among the participants were well-known personalities such as Oliver Pocher, Sven Martinek with Bianca Rütter, Mariella Ahrens with Marco van Dré and Roberto Blanco with Luzandra Strassburg. Despite the friendly nature of the encounters, the sporting atmosphere was palpable.
The proceeds from the event will go to the “Kinderlachen e.V.” association, which aims to give disadvantaged children access to sporting activities. Christian Vosseler, founder of Kinderlachen, emphasized the importance of the support.

In the evening, around 170 guests continued the event with the “Players Night”. After a musical performance and a communal dinner, an auction was held in which works of art, including some by Andreas Belzek, were auctioned off. The donation of a young musician, who gave his entire first fee to a good cause, was particularly touching. Other generous individual donations were also received.
In total, donations amounting to 62,490 euros were raised for Kinderlachen e.V. MTTC Iphitos would like to thank all participants and supporters for their commitment and is delighted to have made a contribution to a good cause with this event.
